Question 1: Define instruction, teaching, and intentional
learning and discuss their differences.
Teaching – involves instructors, learners, and textbooks. Teaching could be interpreted as getting content from the text into the hands of the learners in such a way that they could retrieve the information for a text.
Intentional Learning – is the learning strategies and processes. Three components of intentional learning is (1) decision to engage in committed, persisted learning effort, (2) the ability to apply and manage strategic cognitive efforts to achieve goals and (3) extent to which the learner takes responsibility for learning autonomously.
